Established in 2014, The New Naples is Naples’ original online lifestyle guide, featuring all things fresh and modern about Southwest Florida, including where to eat, drink, go, stay, shop and thrive in our sunny Gulfside paradise.

Originally, it was created with local young professionals in mind to give them a one-stop spot to find Naples’ best happy hours, where to brunch in Naples, what to do on weekends and more. Today, it’s evolved into a curated resource to help residents and visitors of all ages live the Naples lifestyle year round.

The New Naples founder Jennifer Adams has lived in Naples for 13 years, ever since she swapped coasts of Florida for the more charming of the two. Before launching TNN, she was an editor at a local lifestyle magazine, where she got to know a lot of the people, places and businesses that make Naples such a great place to live and visit.

Jennifer’s husband, Jesse, also lends a hand with the creative side of things around here. He, too, worked at the same magazine as creative director—it’s actually how they met! Jesse now owns his own magazine, The Inside Coup.

That’s what we do best! Whether you’re planning a trip to Naples, or you live here full-time, feel free to email us (or send a DM on Instagram) and ask for recommendations. We’re happy to be the local friends you go to to ask the real scoop about the best spots in town. Think of us like your personal concierge… but better.

In colonial America, hostesses would set a pineapple in the middle of their tables before guests came to visit. The concept of hospitality was a central element in colonial life, and the pineapple symbolized the warmest welcome a hostess could extend to her guests.
