We love date night. And while dinner and a movie never gets old, sometimes we like to mix things up. So to boost your date repertoire, we present 12 date ideas in Naples for a range of interests and at a range of price points—starting with free.
| RENT JET SKIS. Go on a guided jet ski adventure through Wiggins and Estero Bay’s backcountry, past Lovers Key State Park and around remote islands normally only frequented by dolphins, manatees and birds.
| TAKE A SEAPLANE FLIGHT. Sightseeing by air? Day trip to the Keys? Picnic on one of the Ten Thousand Islands? Take your pick—Salt Island Seaplanes offers them all.
| RESERVE A CABANA FOR DINNER AT THE CONTINENTAL. Cozy up for a romantic dinner (pull the curtains for extra privacy), then stay for dancing to live music in the courtyard every night except Sunday.
| HAVE A PICNIC ON THE BEACH AT SUNSET. Snacks, a bottle of wine, a big blanket… beach picnics are a classic for a reason. The Naples Grande offers Sunset Picnic Baskets with a bottle of wine, several snack options (hummus and pita, chips and guac, fruit salad, mixed nuts, etc.), drinkware and an insulated picnic basket, packed and ready for pickup an hour before sunset, for $79.
| TOUR THE REVS INSTITUTE. Named the finest car collection in the country by The New York Times, The Revs Institute houses around 100 automobiles built between 1898 and 1995, including the first Ferrari imported to the U.S., an ultra-elegant 1937 French roadster and the Duesenberg SSJ Gary Cooper drove in Hollywood in 1935. It’s got history and culture to appeal to all, not just the car buffs.
| VISIT ARTIS—NAPLES. Wander the art galleries in Hayes Hall, attend a museum lecture, catch a traveling Broadway show or a performance by the Naples Philharmonic. It all makes for great conversation fodder over dinner afterward.
| TAKE A DONATION YOGA CLASS. Donation Yoga Naples hosts yoga classes for all levels in several spots that coincidentally make for great date settings afterward. So loosen up on the mat, then stick around for coffee at Kunjani (first Thursday of the month), a beer or two at Naples Beach Brewery (last Saturday of the month), or a stroll through the Naples Zoo (second to last Sunday of the month). A full class schedule with times is online.
| WALK, RUN OR BIKE THE GORDON RIVER GREENWAY. Endorphins for the win.
| TAKE A COOKING CLASS. With an extensive list of options—from seafood to grilled pizza to French macarons—Sur la Table at Mercato is almost guaranteed to have something on the books whenever the culinary mood strikes. (Availability is limited, though, so reservations should be made as early as possible.)
| INDULGE IN A PAIRINGS DINNER AT THE BEVY. Chef Chris Renninghoff frequently gets creative with intimate, multi-course tasting dinners, paired with wine, bourbon, whiskey and others from vineyards and distilleries around the world. Educational, fun and a little indulgent.

| GO ON A PEDAL PUB TOUR. Up to seven couples can partake in this pedaling pub crawl, which offers one- or two-hour tour options to popular bars and hangouts.
| VOLUNTEER. Here’s where you can get creative. Help build a house with Habitat for Humanity, play with pets at Humane Society Naples, or just get together to pick up trash on the beach. There’s nothing better than bonding over a good cause.
