Neapolitans love their pets, and they proved it at The Humane Society Naples‘ 15th annual Pet Lovers’ Gala on March 13. More than 400 attended the Wizard of Oz-themed event (a sold-out crowd!) at Naples Botanical Garden for dinner, cocktails, entertainment and a live auction. In total, the gala, chaired by Rufino Hernandez of The Garden District, raised more than $550,000 in support of the no-kill pet shelter, adoption center and animal clinic—its highest amount to date.
