One of my favorite events of the year is Naples Junior Woman’s Club‘s Derby Dash. This year, it was held at the Naples Botanical Garden, which proved a perfect setting for the brightly colored dresses, extravagant headwear and dapper gents in attendance.
Instead of a hat, I opted for an Hermès scarf tied in an oversized rosette that, on any other day, might have bordered on the ridiculous, but during the Run for the Roses, it couldn’t have been more appropriate. (Confession: I had no idea how to tie a scarf like that, but this YouTube video made it super simple!)
My linen Sail to Sable tunic dress was easy to wear and lightweight in the warm early summer temps. (Another confession: I buy all my Sail to Sable at a major discount here—and don’t forget to use Ebates for extra cash back, too!)
